Mother Nature's Backyard Featured on South Bay Water-wise Garden Tour

Water-wise gardening is a good way to decrease water use and save money.  The fourth annual South Bay Water-Wise Garden Tour demonstrates just how unique and beautiful water-wise gardens can be.  This year’s tour is scheduled for Sunday, May 18th from 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  Discover the beauty and pristine look of South Bay gardens that embrace the water wise gardening philosophy.  Learn how to lower your water bill, help the environment (by saving water), encourage wildlife and lower your maintenance efforts.    The self-guided tour features 10 gardens in El Segundo, Gardena, Hermosa Beach, Lomita, Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, and Torrance - you can visit as many or as few gardens as you want.    Mother Nature’s Backyard in the Gardena Willows Wetland Preserve is one of the featured gardens.  Tickets are $12.00 per person and are available at SunFlower Farms (310-527-8371) 17609 S. Western Ave. Gardena 90248  and other South Bay locations or on-line.  For more information see: http://www.southbaywaterwisegardentour.com/
