Lots of Rain

December, January and now February are coming in with excellent rainfall in Western Los Angeles County.  See above for how different the monthly total was in January.  The data above are though February 10, 2017.

  1. Agreed! I've had over 21" at my house near Mother Nature's Backyard. The plants are doing swimmingly ;-) with all that water and it's a bonus that it hasn't been in a series of rapid back to back storms.

    Note that if you graph Oct 1 through Sep 30 of the following year, you'll line up with the standard water year.

  2. It took me a bit to figure out the graph...I couldn't conceptualize how the 2017 line fit in. I hear more rain is in store...keep posting!
