Needed: Pruners

Our big garden pruning day is coming up on November 17th.  If you'd like to learn how to prune young native plants - and help us prune in the process - plan to come to our Pruning Workshop on Nov. 11th from 1:00 to 3:00.  See Classes & Workshops page for more information.   Send us an e-mail ( mothernaturesbackyard10@gmail.com) if you'd like to help.  Please pass this on to anyone who might be interested. 

Needed:  Garden Docents

We'd like to keep the garden open as much as possible.   If you enjoy plants  - and would like to volunteer for a few hours a month - we may have a place for you as a Garden Docent.  Monthly Volunteer Days (ages 12 and older, please)

Regular monthly volunteer days are scheduled for the afternoon of the 3rd Saturday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.    Meet at the garden - wear old clothes, sunscreen and a hat.  In November, we'll be doing some pruning and weeding.     See the Your Gardening Calendar page for background information.
